Mike
Walsh has 12 years of recruitment communications experience. Mike graduated
from Providence College in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts
degree in English. He began his career in the recruitment business as
an Account Coordinator
for a large, international recruitment advertising agency. Mike was
quickly promoted to an Account Executive position and subsequently to
an Account
Supervisor role where he oversaw major accounts in the healthcare, high-tech,
biotech and government sectors. After five years providing recruitment
advertising solutions, Mike transitioned to the recruiting side of the
business where he ran the physician recruitment department for the Hallmark
Health System. After several years of successful recruiting, Mike was
offered a position at his previous agency to run the Interactive Services
department in the Boston office. In this capacity, Mike oversaw all
Internet media planning, website and banner development as well as resume
mining and job broadcasting technologies.
In
addition to the traditional side of recruitment advertising, Mike also
specializes in applicant tracking technology and employment process
reengineering. Mike's ability to evaluate an organization's employment
strengths and weaknesses and then build it into a sound creative, media
and process strategy make his skills a valuable addition to each of
his client's organizations. Mike joined Harger Howe because of our depth
of experience in the recruitment business, but more importantly because
of our "customer first" ideology. Mike strongly believes that
it is the client/agency partnership that drives great creative work
and sound recruiting strategies.
